The robust hand pallet truck is perfectly suited for explosion-hazardous areas of ATEX ZONE 1 and 21, classified with protection type according to Ex II 2GD IIC T6.

Static electricity is avoided thanks to discharge bumpers. The 3 mm thick stainless steel coating of the mounting surfaces prevents mechanically generated sparks, which reduces the general risk of ignition.

This ensures greater safety in places where flammable substances are manufactured, processed, transported or stored. The ATEX zones are differentiated according to the type of fuel that may be present and the frequency or duration for which an explosive atmosphere may remain. ATEX Zone 1 is an area in which an explosive atmosphere consisting of a mixture of air and flammable substances (e.g. gases) can occur. ATEX zone 21 is an area in which an explosive atmosphere can occur as combustible dust in the air. The pallet truck can be used safely in these explosion-protected zones.

The premium pallet truck with ATEX zones is ideally suited for heavy-duty continuous use in warehouses and production with a load capacity of 2500 kg and a fork length of 1150 mm. It not only has a reinforced load frame and a reinforced drawbar, but also a rubberised drawbar handle, polyurethane tandem fork rollers and entry/exit rollers at the fork tips.
